BitMine increased its Ethereum holdings last week to 6.029 million ETH, or 4.9% of the total supply, worth approximately $15.3 billion. This is no small feat—84% of its holdings are already staked through its own MAVAN platform and partners.

Annualized returns are expected to exceed $336 million. At the current 2.61% seven-day yield, that figure could climb to $400 million once all holdings are staked. This isn’t crypto speculation; it’s a long-term investment backed by real assets.

Chairman Tom Lee says this large-scale, sustained combination of holding and staking is reshaping market expectations. Major institutions are no longer just making short-term bets; they’re using their asset structures to influence the pace of market cycles.
