Fighting over 10/11 again
Why should the market pay the price when the two sides fight?
Nobody knows exactly what happened on 10/11. All anyone remembers is that the market had just finished its pullback, ETH had broken above its previous high and opened up room for the next leg. Then one day, we woke up to find the whole market in mourning.
If there's one thing I regret, it's this: next time, wait until I'm awake to do it again. Don't launch a sneak attack in the middle of the night.
It was brutal. Even today, the market is still trying to rebuild confidence.
I still remember the 200-million guy telling me he'd “blown up”—$30 million~
Absolutely brutal.
I hope everyone involved will release the backend data from that time so we can get to the bottom of what really happened. Apart from the transparent, publicly available on-chain data for HYPE, nobody knows exactly what happened in the market. That's also why HYPE maintained its upward trajectory even after such a dark day for the market, and hasn't stopped moving forward to this day.
Liquidity stratification is a long-term and irreversible trend. Hold onto leading tokens and stick close to the big US players—only they can repair the market. Everything else is futile.
After the incident, I already had a feeling liquidity would become stratified. Time has proved it: in this market, the trading platforms that are still growing are HYPE derivatives, CB, and UNI.
The market's appetite for data transparency far outweighs its desire for privacy…
Far too many people were left paying the price for an accident they barely understood. Many coins went straight to zero—it was even more intense than Luna…
