‎⚡ MARKET, LIMIT or STOP-LIMIT
‎Master the Order Types! 🎯💸

‎Community, one of the mistakes when starting out is using the wrong order and paying more fees than necessary or entering at an undesired price🤦🏻‍♂️
‎
‎Today we’re going to look at the order types so you can trade like a professional😎:
‎
‎1️⃣ MARKET Order ⚡
‎
‎What is it?🤔 It executes your buy/sell IMMEDIATELY at the best available price
‎
‎✅ Advantage: Speed. If you need to enter or exit the market right away
‎
‎❌ Disadvantage: You pay fees and run the risk of slippage if there isn’t enough liquidity
‎
‎❓When to use it? In emergencies or when the price moves so fast that you need to execute regardless of the decimal
‎
‎2️⃣ LIMIT Order📌
‎
‎What is it? 🤔You set the PRICE at which you want to buy/sell. The order is placed in the order book and will only be executed if the market reaches your price
‎
‎✅ Advantage: Full control over the entry/exit price and lower Maker fees
‎
‎❌ Disadvantage: No guarantee of execution. If the price doesn’t reach your level, the order will keep waiting
‎
‎❓When to use it? When you have identified support or resistance levels and prefer to wait for the price to come to you
‎
‎3️⃣ STOP-LIMIT Order 🛑
‎
‎What is it?🤔A conditional order. You define:
‎
‎Stop: The level that, when touched, "wakes up" your order
‎
‎Limit: The price at which your buy/sell order will be sent to the order book
‎
‎✅Advantage:vital for placing your Stop Loss or entering resistance breakouts
‎
‎❓When to use it? To protect your capital from serious drops without having to be glued to the screen
‎
‎💡 Tip
‎
‎If you’re looking for precision and lower fees, get used to planning your entries with LIMIT orders
‎
‎Reserve the MARKET order only for when speed is your priority
