This kind of divergence is easy to read as a bullish market. I used to read it that way too, but I’ve changed my mind.
When small-cap coins double, it usually means the same money has pulled out of one batch of small caps and moved elsewhere.
If you really want to chase it, first figure out who’s on the other side of your trade, and when they plan to exit. If you can’t answer those two questions, the top gainers list is someone else’s sell list.
BTC -1.05%, ETH -0.09%. The major coins are barely moving.
Now look at market share. BTC is at 59.04% now. That figure is still climbing. Money is flowing back into the major coins, while small-cap gains are just existing funds taking from each other’s pockets.
I’m not sure if this counts as a signal. I’ll keep it in mind for now.
They can have the excitement; I’ll do my own math.

One more thing: ADA is down 3.51% today, at 0.2445. It’s falling harder than BTC, and I’m watching to see whether it keeps up with the broader market.
