$BTC: First check volume and positioning, then draw a directional conclusion

I’ll record price and positioning separately, rather than treating a single candlestick as evidence.

In the synchronized snapshot as of 00:17 Beijing time on October 13, $BTC was quoted at 82,900.68 USDT on Binance, while OKX was at 82,886.60. By timeframe, the 15-minute change was +0.20%, the 1-hour change was +0.17%, and the 4-hour change was -0.80%. Volume and positioning indicators showed: 1-hour volume ratio of 1.01, 1-hour OI down 0.28%, and a funding rate of +0.0019%.

Price, volume, and positioning have yet to align in a clear one-way move, so it makes more sense to watch the range for now. Another interpretation is that existing positions are exiting first, and the price movement may not indicate that new capital has already chosen a side.

The current range has a lower reference level of 82,410.86 and an upper reference level of 84,352.00. Only a move above 84,352.00 would confirm an upward breakout; only a drop below 82,410.86 would signal weakness. Until either level is breached, a directional call is invalidated. I’ll just track changes rather than chase a single candlestick.
