Whoa, after buying the $SOL ETF for 14 straight weeks, Wall Street suddenly stopped! This time, I actually think we need to be cautious about Solana in the short term! 📉
Guys, we’ve all seen how strong SOL has been lately.
There were net inflows for 14 consecutive weeks, and at one point the market thought institutions would keep buying indefinitely.
But in the latest week, that 14-week streak of inflows was broken!
The biggest warning sign isn’t how much money flowed out in any one week—it’s that the flow of funds has changed.
ETFs used to provide steady buying support. Now that buying pressure has suddenly weakened, SOL will need fresh capital to keep rising.
What’s more, spot ETFs for BTC and ETH have also seen outflows recently, putting institutional demand across the entire crypto market under pressure.
This doesn’t mean Solana’s long-term growth story has changed, but I’m definitely less optimistic in the short term.
My view is clear: SOL looks bearish in the short term. For any rebound, first see whether the money really comes back!
If ETF inflows don’t recover for a while and there’s no clear buying support for the price, I think further choppy consolidation is more likely.
Institutions used to keep buying, and retail investors followed along and made money.
Now institutional buying has slowed. If retail investors blindly chase prices higher, they could easily end up holding the bag.
The most dangerous moments in crypto often aren’t when bad news first comes out. It’s when the flow of money has already changed, but everyone is still trading as if the old market conditions will continue.
