Holy crap, Wall Street has already started quietly buying insurance! $BTC Options volatility has hit a five-year low, but I’m actually even more bullish on a big move upward for Bitcoin from here! 🚀

Guys, Bitcoin has been trading sideways around $83,500 lately. It can’t go up, but it won’t go down either, and plenty of people are already worn out by the grind.

But the data published by 10x Research is pretty interesting.

BTC’s near-term implied options volatility has fallen to 33.5%, close to its lowest level in five years!
More importantly, there’s been concentrated buying of $78,000 and $80,000 put options, with the largest position having a notional value of around $204 million.

Big players buying insurance doesn’t necessarily mean they’re getting ready to bail. They could also be protecting their positions so they can keep holding BTC!

Now look at Binance’s futures market: the BTC price hasn’t moved much, but open interest has increased from $7.73 billion to $7.87 billion.

The price is moving sideways, but open interest has risen by $140 million. The battle between bulls and bears is clearly heating up!

Right now, I’m leaning toward the bulls making the first move.

If $84,340 breaks convincingly, the first target is $85,000, followed by a push toward $87,000! 🔥

Of course, rising open interest doesn’t mean all that money is betting on a rise. But given the liquidation levels we’ve seen, I’m more hopeful for a short-covering rally after an upside breakout.

My view hasn’t changed: I’m still bullish on BTC!

The most interesting part is that retail traders are nearly out of patience after all this sideways action, while the biggest moves often happen at exactly these moments.

Wall Street is busy buying insurance, while I keep waiting for Bitcoin to break above $85,000! 🚀
