Someone asked: How can the mainnet trust that the results submitted by a Rollup are correct?
I usually answer like this: Many fraud proofs use an interactive dispute process: both sides keep narrowing down the disagreement until, in the end, the mainnet only needs to re-execute one step to determine who’s right. The idea behind fraud proofs is “assume it’s correct first, and investigate if someone challenges it.” As long as there’s one honest participant watching and ready to challenge in time, an incorrect result can’t slip through.
