This is wild: Edison, co-founder of the Based crypto card, posted an update this morning: KYC data (name, passport number, date of birth, and address) may have been leaked. They’ve reported it to Singapore’s PDPC and the police. They say card numbers, funds, and self-custody trading wallets are unaffected—but linking identities to wallet addresses makes the prospect of targeted phishing pretty scary. Is the convenience worth completing KYC? Share your thoughts in the comments.
