Where will Bitcoin go next? First, take a clear look at the liquidation map.

Cumulative liquidation intensity for longs below is $1.3 billion, while shorts above total $1 billion.

There are four key levels: $83,000 is the first major long liquidation zone, where liquidations could accelerate the drop; $82,000 is the second dense zone, in focus if the first wave doesn’t stop the decline. Above, shorts start getting squeezed once price breaks $84,700; $85,300 is the main cluster for short positions.

Upside path: Get above $84,700 and squeeze shorts between $85,177 and $85,333. Short covering itself creates buying pressure and could push price toward $85,865. Downside path: A break below $82,952 could trigger the main cluster at $82,240—the strongest long liquidation bar on the entire map. Once cascading liquidations kick in, there’s very little support on the way down to $81,528.

I lean toward an initial move up; there’s less resistance in that direction: the short cluster is closer to the current price, so it takes less to trigger.
