📚 LET’S LEARN TOGETHER🧠🤓: How to identify a reaction Order Block after the market opens?
In modern technical analysis, an Order Block (OB) is the last bearish candle before a major upward move, or the last bullish candle before a decline. Institutions leave unfilled pending orders at that specific candle. When the price returns to seek out that liquidity, the zone often triggers a strong reaction bounce.
Look at the 4-hour (4H) chart for Bitcoin ($BTC ): after reaching a high of $84,352.00, the price pulled back to seek the accumulated liquidity.
1. IDENTIFICATION: The wick retesting the $82,476.00 zone marks the level where institutional buying came in.
2. VALIDATION: Notice how the price is trading at $82,946.00, leaving a clear rejection wick below. Although the RSI is at 37.78, confirming the zone requires the candle to hold its close above this floor and respect the lower Bollinger Band ($82,254.93). If the candle body closes below it, the block is invalidated.
