🚨 BREAKING:
Saudi Arabia arrives in Burkina Faso carrying a bag full of money, and says:
"We want to build 200 mosques."
The Mufti Ibrahim Traoré looks at the proposal, glances around the country, then turns his gaze back to them:
"Two hundred mosques?
Brother... we already know where Mecca is.
What we're looking for are power companies where the people of Burkina Faso can work."
Saudi Arabia:
"But it's a generous religious investment, Mufti Traoré."
Traoré:
"Excellent.
And now, make sure the next investment includes roads and factories and hospitals and irrigation systems and universities that don't just teach the language of others, but teach the people of Burkina Faso how to manufacture... and perhaps a power plant too."
It's then said that he confronted them with a phrase reflecting the vision of African development, saying:
"You invest billions in America and Britain and Canada and Australia and Switzerland, where skyscrapers already exist.
But you come to Africa just to build mosques?
How many mosques have you built in America or Canada or Japan or Australia or Switzerland or Britain?
