Circle minted 2.75 billion USDC on Solana in one go. Don’t immediately treat that number as a “net inflow.”
Mint, Burn, and Transfer are three different things:
- Mint: newly issued tokens
- Burn: tokens destroyed or redeemed
- Transfer: movement between addresses, which doesn’t necessarily mean funds are flowing in
Only by separating issuance, redemptions, cross-chain bridges, and changes in exchange balances can you determine whether the stablecoin supply has increased on net. The chart uses real SOL market data purely as background; conclusions about stablecoins must be based on on-chain issuance data.
When you track stablecoins, do you count Mint events directly as net inflows?
