【Follow-up】Ledger/CryptoBilis incident: On-chain tracking shows about $93 million; Tether has frozen about $10 million in $USDT

1. Analytics firm Bitquery says wallets associated with Ledger devices sold through Southeast Asian authorized reseller CryptoBilis had about $93.2 million transferred out (315 addresses across 6 chains), mostly in $USDT and Tron-based assets. Other firms have given higher estimates; Ledger has not officially confirmed the total losses.
2. Bitquery says Tether has frozen about $10 million in the $USDT involved in the incident. As of October 11, about $81 million was still traceable on-chain, with some funds moved through mixing routes.
3. Ledger confirmed that at least one device had an unauthorized hardware implant and advised users not to initialize unused CryptoBilis devices; those who have already used theirs should consider switching to a new device and using a completely new recovery phrase.
