The level of discussion itself is a sentiment indicator. I’m more interested in three details:
· Is the discussion mostly in agreement, or are opinions divided?
· Is the topic just gaining traction, or is it already all over the feed?
· Is the trading volume of $BTC rising in sync with its price?
One-sided sentiment combined with a feed full of posts often means sentiment is nearing an extreme; disagreement when a topic is just taking off may have more staying power.
$BTC is currently at 83338.02, up 0.16% over 24h. I’ll add it to my watchlist first.
