Why do some candlesticks have long wicks?
A candlestick is bullish when the closing price is higher than the opening price, and bearish when the closing price is lower. When the opening and closing prices are almost the same, it’s generally called a doji.
It’s easy to be misled by drawing conclusions from just one or two candlesticks. You can make a more informed judgment by looking at a longer time frame and trading volume as well.
