How can a transaction be front-run by bots before it’s even on-chain?
When swapping on a DEX, set an appropriate slippage tolerance based on the token’s volatility. Don’t set it very high just to make sure the trade goes through in one go.
In short, on-chain transactions are generally publicly visible before they’re included in a block. Whoever can control the order of transactions may be able to profit from it.
