đ„ Altseason Is Flashing. The Liquidity Isnât $BTC is range-bound. The next phase may belong to a handful of altcoins. With Bitcoin consolidating between $80,000 and $88,000, the CMC Altcoin Season Index reads 66/100, its highest in over a year and up from 48 on September 19. Smaller tokens are outrunning the majors: an 80-token index rose about 3% in 24 hours versus 1.2% for the majors index, and $STRK gained 76% in a week before giving back 7.7% in a day. The money underneath disagrees. According to @CoinMarketCap Research, $BTC order book within 1% of the price is about 75% deeper than on the day of last Octoberâs $19 billion flash crash. Altcoin depth has fallen at every checkpoint since early 2025, by about a third at 5% from the price. Last week, US spot ETFs shed $681 million in Bitcoin, $542 million in Ether and $24.8 million in Solana, snapping a record 14-week inflow run, per SoSoValue. Real buying is rare, per CoinDesk futures data. $NEAR is up 10% in a day to its highest since December, with roughly 6% more contracts open and the second-strongest buyer-driven order flow among majors. $ZEC ranks fourth in futures volume at $5.46 billion a day, yet only about 1% more contracts are open. The research lead behind that report expects the split to last into next year, with only âa select few altsâ breaking the pattern. Bitcoin dominance still sits near 59%, and implied volatility around 40% says options traders arenât pricing a big move. A reading of 75 would make altseason official, but the tell for a real next phase is fresh money: ETF inflows returning and open interest growing faster than prices. CPI on Wednesday and the Fed on October 28 are the next tests. #Altcoin Season# #BTC Price Analysis# #Macro Insights#
