The Middle East turned into a mess over the weekend: three oil tankers were hit in the Strait of Hormuz in three days. Then Trump’s one-liner about a “Russia-Ukraine energy ceasefire” sent oil prices below $90. The macro picture looks scary, but crypto is quietly getting things done.

The biggest thing to watch today: the market cap of tokenized stocks hit a record high of $3.9 billion. One project on BNB Chain accounts for $1.2 billion, with $ETH 8.4 hundred million and $SOL 7.4 hundred million close behind. The top three chains now make up 70% of the market. We’ve been hearing the RWA narrative for a year; this time, the data shows it’s delivering real value.

Two other things to keep an eye on: the Solana spot ETF lists on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange tomorrow (October 13)—Hong Kong’s momentum hasn’t slowed. INJ has secured SEC registration as a transfer agent, making it the first L1 with compliant, institutional-grade RWA infrastructure. Meanwhile, Tron Inc. is still accumulating, with its holdings now up to 718 million TRX.

My take: macro is noise. An energy ceasefire like this can fall apart at any moment, and getting caught in a purely sentiment-driven market can hurt on both sides. But the capital flowing into RWAs and ETFs is real, and trends are more reliable than sentiment. Don’t chase pumps; hold assets with solid fundamentals.
