$SOL ETF inflows suddenly halted after 14 consecutive weeks. Are institutions starting to pull back?
U.S. spot Solana ETFs saw net outflows of approximately $24.8 million in the week ending October 9, ending 14 consecutive weeks of inflows and marking the largest single-week outflow for these products since their launch in October 2025. Just two weeks earlier, these ETFs had recorded approximately $188.2 million in net inflows for the week, a clear sign of a shift in sentiment.
However, one week of outflows doesn’t prove that institutions are bearish on SOL. The previous streak of inflows didn’t guarantee prices would only go up, either. Short-term profit-taking and shifts in risk appetite across the broader crypto market could both change the direction of fund flows.
Is this just a normal pullback after a period of consecutive buying, or are institutional investors starting to reassess Solana’s value as an allocation?
Do you think inflows into SOL ETFs will return, or will institutions favor BTC and ETH more in the coming weeks?
