🇪🇺 The EU approves its 22nd package of sanctions against Russia
EU foreign ministers have approved a package of sanctions against Russia that includes nearly 1,600 new measures, the EU’s top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, announced.
According to her, the restrictions target Russia’s military-industrial complex. The EU is “significantly hampering” Russia’s weapons production, making it slower and much more expensive, Kallas said.
“This is the largest expansion of our sanctions list since Russia started the war,” she added.
