# TECHNICAL REBOUND AFTER THE CORRECTION AND TEST OF KEY LEVELS (80k → 85k)
Last week, Bitcoin underwent a sharp correction, briefly slipping toward 80,000 $ amid massive liquidations (>$1 billion) and macro pressures (high bond yields, geopolitical tensions).
Since then, a technical rebound has begun: BTC is now trading around $83,800–84,200, up 0.4% to 1.2% over 24 hours. Ethereum is slightly outperforming, gaining around 1.5% to $2,540–2,570.
This move is supported by a clear resurgence in volume and buyers returning at the $82,000–83,000 support levels. The $84,500–85,000 $ zone is now the key resistance to watch. As long as Bitcoin holds above $82,000, the bullish consolidation scenario remains valid. A clear break above $85,000 $ would open the way toward $86,000–87,000, while a rejection could trigger another range-bound phase.
