BTC became a mirror too after the KOSPI fell nearly 3% in the first session.

The holiday is over, but the Asian market stage opened on a cautious note. South Korea’s KOSPI fell nearly 3% in the first session after the long break, and $BTC became a mirror of how market participants are reassessing risk before hitting the buy button.

To me, the KOSPI decline is more than just an index figure. It signals that risk appetite in East Asia is being tested, and the tremors usually spread to other risk assets, including crypto. Interestingly, crypto’s regime itself remains intact. The ARKUS signal for $BTC is still LONG with high confidence; D1, H1, and M15 are aligned bullish, while only H4 remains mixed. The EMA structure on higher timeframes still supports an upward bias.

The difference is that price is now hugging a resistance area. The ideal entry zone is around 83.598, with invalidation below 82.068. Top traders remain net long — the position ratio is 1.55 and the account ratio is 1.43 — but taker flow is leaning short at 0.85. This points to a disagreement: smart money is long, while selling aggression in the market is quite evident. Open interest is up just 0.18%, so there is no major influx of capital yet.

Beyond BTC, rotation is still underway. $BAT has emerged as the only strong signal with a valid long setup, with an entry zone around 0.1593–0.1598. Meanwhile, $STRK is on the watchlist, and a few coins such as US and LUMIA have instead received warnings of a potential dump. This is a typical pattern in a thinly liquid market: money moves quickly, but does not settle in one place.

The 24-hour performance data confirms this — a 36.38% win rate across 547 signals, with an average RR of 1.5. That is not a bad figure, but it shows that today’s momentum is better suited to cautious trading than chasing.

In my view, the KOSPI drop is a sentiment headwind, not a reversal in the crypto trend. As long as $BTC funding remains positive and the higher-timeframe EMA structure holds, the correction is better read as a pullback opportunity than an exit alarm. What I’m watching out for instead are the smaller coins on the watchlist — in a thin market, a dump can come faster than a rebound.
