The toughest decision for $DATA holders right now is whether this +11% green candle is a reversal signal or just another chance to reduce their position. At $0.217, with a market cap of $78M and down 98.53% from its ATH—after falling 96% over the past year—a gain of 11% doesn’t automatically change the trend.

Volume is the real story behind today’s move. It’s at $18.74M today, compared with just $1M to $6M for most of the past 30 days. Clearly, this isn’t just a few retail investors placing casual buy orders. There was a similar volume spike on September 23: the price surged to $0.234, then volume steadily faded to $2M and the price slipped back below $0.20. The question now is how long this capital plans to stick around.

I’m more concerned with whether this is a burst of activity or sustained buying. If it’s just a quick pump off the trending list, getting out fast is the win; if it’s sustained accumulation, we should see even higher volume peaks ahead. But $DATA’s long-term fundamentals don’t support a case for challenging its previous highs. At best, this rally is a recovery after a steep decline—not a trend reversal.

The risk is clear, too: if volume quickly dries up, there’s a decent chance the price will repeat its late-September pullback. The alpha from buying today could become tomorrow’s liquidity. The metric holders should really watch isn’t whether the price keeps climbing, but whether 24-hour trading volume can stay above $10M through each daily close. If it can’t, this is just another burst of momentum being passed along.

Would you wait for volume to confirm the move, or trim some of your position while the candle is green? Both choices come at a cost. I’ve laid out the indicators I’m watching—what about you?
