Sector rotation is more worth noting than index moves

Read off the U.S. stock market numbers first, then decide whether crypto should follow.

Calculate technical levels using today's highs and lows; don't force old support levels onto the chart.

S&P 500 7,812 (5-day +1.15%, Yahoo)
U.S. Dollar Index 102.20 (5-day -0.04%)

BTC 24h high 84290 / low 82975, current price 84235. VIX 14.84, with volatility being suppressed. At levels like these, U.S. stocks can grind higher, but don't use their gains as a reason to add leverage in crypto. If VIX bounces, futures positions get wrecked first.

ETH +2.32%, outperforming BTC +1.41%; exchange rate 0.03049. This looks like risk appetite spilling over—not BTC going it alone.

VIX is now 14.84. If it gets above 18, I'll cut my futures position in half. I'm not going to argue with the U.S. market's closing price.

My positioning: I only buy pullbacks, not breakouts. If the structure holds, I can keep a core position; any additions have to wait for a pullback level.

Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance USDⓈ-M / Yahoo daily (5-day change) / altme_fng / mempool_fees / defillama_chains / coingecko_trending. Missing numbers stay missing.
When meme coins aren't outperforming BTC, are you still holding them?

Takeaway: ETF issuer creations and redemptions are flows, not bullish or bearish sound bites.
Food for thought: Fear & Greed <25: sentiment is cold, but that doesn't confirm a bottom.
