Cryptocurrency $SUI is in the spotlight in October 2026 thanks to a series of major technological integrations.
The $SUI token staged a strong rally, rising 54% over the past 30 days and outperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum in its recovery, although its price has undergone a local correction and is trading around $1.12–$1.17.

Hashi integration and $500 million for BTC: On October 8, the phased launch of the Hashi protocol on mainnet was announced. The project has already secured more than $500 million in commitments from liquid partners (including Anchorage Digital). This will enable native Bitcoin ($BTC) to be used as collateral in the Sui DeFi ecosystem through the issuance of the wrapped token hBTC.
DATA Network migration and $30 million from the foundation: On October 12, the Sui Foundation allocated $30 million to support the migration of DATA Network, which is shutting down its own blockchain and moving all operations to Sui and the decentralized storage platform Walrus. The project will focus on auditing and licensing data for artificial intelligence (AI).
Circle CCTP V2 launch: The Sui network integrated the second version of Circle’s cross-chain transfer protocol. This enables instant, direct transfers of the native USDC stablecoin between Sui and 29 other supported blockchains without using third-party bridges.
New speed record (TPS): During infrastructure stress testing, the Sui network recorded a peak throughput of 40.6 million transactions per second (TPS) in off-chain mode.
