$Lido had the most awkward week, down 8.16% over 7 days—the steepest drop among the top 12 protocols—before rebounding 1.60% in 24 hours. The same story played out across all 11 assets. $SSV 1 led with a 1.63% daily gain. This project is betting on decentralized validator custody; it fell 6.67% and then rose 1.63%, following the same pattern. Binance’s staked Ethereum was down 6.79% over 7 days and up 1.40% over 1 day, almost a carbon copy of Lido. The whole staking sector is turning around.

On the lending side, Aave was down 5.33% over 7 days and up 1.20% over 1 day—not much of a move, with no pickup in capital flows. The cross-chain settlement protocol was the only one among the top 12 still down over 1 day, slipping 0.6%. Cross-chain was the weakest sector.

It looks like a rebound, but positions are shrinking across the board. Those gains of just over 1% are nowhere near enough to fill the hole dug over the past 7 days. Anyone thinking of entering this week should think carefully.
