$BTC When Bitcoin fell to around $84,000, one company spent $169 million to buy 2,000 BTC!
Bitcoin treasury company Strive bought approximately 2,000 BTC between September 28 and October 2, at an average price of about $84,422 per coin, for a total of roughly $169 million. This was the company’s largest increase in holdings since June, bringing its total holdings to 29,462 BTC.
Interestingly, big companies being willing to buy doesn’t mean the market will immediately rise. Treasury companies have to contend with financing costs, equity dilution, debt or preferred stock arrangements, and Bitcoin’s own volatility. What’s really worth watching isn’t just how much they buy, but how they raise the funds, whether they can keep accumulating, and how much of a valuation premium investors are willing to give them.
Do you think these companies’ continued BTC purchases are positioning them ahead of the next rally, or are they using their access to capital markets to amplify Bitcoin’s risks?
