BTC is at 83,707 now, up 0.83% over 24 hours. I’ve laid out all the bullish and bearish evidence I could find today, one point at a time.

On the bullish side, BTC is up 0.83% over 24 hours, with short-term buying pressure.
The bulls’ best argument is a Fear & Greed Index of 69 (Greed), showing sentiment is running hot.
One point in favor of a rise: the Fear Index has recovered 8 points within a week, and sentiment is turning around.

On the bearish side, the funding rate is -0.0005%: shorts are paying, and leverage is unwinding.
The bears’ best argument is that trading volume is only 5% of its seven-day peak—not enough to support a major move.

The evidence on both sides doesn’t add up to a clear picture. Forcing yourself to pick a direction on a day like this is just guessing.

I’ve seen too many people get whipsawed in markets like this. It’s not that their judgment was wrong—there simply wasn’t enough to make a judgment on. Staying out is also a position, and it costs the least.

I wouldn’t claim this as a certainty; it’s just how I’m reading things right now.

There’s only one number I’m watching next: whether trading volume can get back to 80% of its seven-day peak. Until it does, I’d take everything else with a grain of salt.

My approach is to note it down and sit tight.
