Just thinking out loud: that 5-minute move on $US just now was up 2.19%. My first reaction was to check the volume (24h: $232 million).
Why check volume first? I’ve learned the hard way: a low-volume rally can easily turn out to be just a wick, and if you chase it, you can end up stuck at the top.
This rise seems fairly moderate, so it’s worth watching a little longer.
What do you usually look at first when you see a rally?
