As of the morning of October 11 Beijing time, Binance spot $BTC was around $82,990, up about 0.5% in 24 hours; $ETH was around $2,506, up about 0.6%; SOL was around $110 and BNB around $748, both broadly flat. Altcoins saw a sharp divide: STRK, TIA, LUMIA and others surged, while MAGIC, PIXEL and others gave back gains.
Weekend liquidity is thin, and sideways index action often obscures structural opportunities and traps. What will really determine how next week opens is still risk appetite in U.S. stocks and macroeconomic data—not the shape of weekend candlesticks.
My view: Large-cap coins are best treated as a mirror of risk appetite. Whether ETH can hold above 2,500 is often used to gauge whether altcoins can rotate higher; whether BTC remains stable determines if leveraged positions will be liquidated in a cascade again.
Be less of a weekend hero; save your ammunition for Monday. Beyond the charts, keeping an eye on U.S. stock index futures and dollar liquidity is more useful than staring at the candlestick chart of a single coin.
