Some thoughts on choosing long-term altcoin investments in this bull market

The previous market cycle was cut short before the potential of many sectors had been fully realized, due to factors such as liquidity being drawn into the AI sector and the cascade of liquidations on 10/11. After a round of shakeouts, capital and narratives have begun to build up again, so new opportunities may emerge this time around.

But this bull market may not see a broad-based rally again. In past cycles, a decline in BTC dominance was often seen as a signal that an altcoin rally was beginning. This time, however, BTC dominance has fluctuated within the 50%–60% range for an extended period, suggesting that the way capital is distributed in the market may have changed. Meanwhile, the crypto sector has long been oversupplied with projects: RootData reports that more than 700 projects have died completely. Many people are reluctant to sell the old altcoins they hold simply because they are underwater—but their purchase price cannot determine a project's future value.

Another change worth noting is that AI's influence on the crypto market is beginning to reverse. AI agents need new financial infrastructure, and blockchains have natural advantages in asset transfers and open settlement. The more powerful AI becomes, the more important privacy and data security will be. Combined with the gradual rollout of RWAs, the tokenization of global assets and borderless pricing could bring new growth to the crypto market. #Ledger暂停CryptoBilis销售
