Honestly, I came across $XDP on the trending list for Base DEXs today.
Before I get into anything trending on-chain, I do three checks: whether the contract is safe, whether the pool is deep enough (currently $1.95 million in liquidity), and whether the top addresses are well distributed. I only take a look if all three check out.
