Trump announces energy ceasefire
On October 11, Trump announced that a ceasefire covering energy infrastructure in the Russia–Ukraine war would take effect immediately. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was unaware of any specific agreement and stressed that Ukraine would stop striking Russian oil refineries only if Moscow stopped attacking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
