The weekend markets are anything but quiet. Three things are worth keeping a close eye on tonight.

First, the biggest spectacle: Trump suddenly announced a Russia-Ukraine “energy ceasefire,” only for Zelenskyy to say in an interview, “This is the first I’ve heard of it too” 😂 Unilateral announcements about negotiations? This plot is more outrageous than a TV drama. Oil prices fell in response, and liquidity-sensitive assets like $BTC will likely recover alongside risk appetite during Monday’s Asian session.

But the Strait of Hormuz is a completely different story: an oil tanker hit a mine and exploded, and a U.S. military aircraft directly damaged a cargo ship. There have been 15 attacks since late September. Even more alarming, satellites captured a 15–20 km column of smoke above Saudi Arabia’s Ghawar oil field—the world’s largest. A ceasefire on one hand and oil-field attacks on the other: the tug-of-war between bullish and bearish forces in oil is intense, making it hard for $BTC to chart an independent course.

Third is $SOL , which has had a seriously strong weekend: Samsung Wallet added USDC cross-border payments, BNY launched SOL custody in the EU, and the number of stablecoin addresses topped 14 million, a new high. Tokenized stocks saw over $7 billion in Q3 trading volume, with 65% of it happening on Solana. Fundamentals are this strong and the price still hasn’t reacted—I’ve got my eye on it.

With breaking news from the Middle East tonight and sentiment during the U.S. session, volatility could be significant. Manage your position sizes carefully.
