📈 $BTC rebounded to $83,600, but one signal is keeping me from turning bullish too soon!
$BTC climbed back above $83,000, with the latest reference price at $83,616, up 0.8% in 24 hours and reaching a high of $84,103.
The price is indeed recovering, but I’m more focused on the changes in capital flows behind it.
From October 7 to 8, U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw combined net outflows of about $729 million. Although they recorded net inflows of $21.1 million on October 9, the amount of money flowing back in was still quite limited.
That’s exactly why I’m cautious about the current rebound.
Rising prices don’t mean institutional capital has fully returned. Short-term buying can drive a rebound, but a sustained uptrend will need stronger spot demand.
Next, I’ll be watching two price ranges:
🔺 $84,000–$84,200: If BTC breaks through on strong volume and holds above this range, it could next test $85,000–$85,500.
🔻 $82,500–$82,700: If BTC breaks below this range and fails to reclaim it, this rebound may come under renewed pressure.
There’s another factor we can’t ignore.
The U.S. will release CPI data on October 14 and PPI data on October 15. If inflation comes in above expectations, BTC could be affected by a repricing of interest rate expectations.
My view: BTC is currently recovering from its decline, but the market still lacks evidence to confirm a trend reversal.
Rather than guessing what the next candlestick will do, I’d rather watch to see whether real capital flows follow through after a break above $84,200.
Do you think this rebound will break straight through $85,000, or will BTC retest $82,000?
