COLD WALLET — it’s just another version of “TRUST ME BRO” 😩
So much has happened over the past few days involving cold wallets that I’ve had to ask myself whether managing my own assets #crypto is right or wrong 😔 and, if it’s wrong, where I went wrong 🙄
If you’re not tech-savvy, I recommend trusting an exchange 🫡 At least they have a team of experts available 24/7 to protect your assets, and they also have a compensation fund in case something goes wrong 🫡
For those of you who like technology, tinkering, researching, managing your own assets, and hate #altcoins , you can create your own Multisig wallet with Multi Vendors 🫡
A quick guide for you to look into:
1. Use Sparrow, Electrum, or BlueWallet.
2. Turn off Wi-Fi when creating the wallet.
3. Once you’ve created the multisig wallet, try sending funds in and out to see if it works properly.
4. If everything works well, create a new wallet and get ready to move $BTC to the cold wallet.
I got brainwashed into believing in this damn cold wallet instead of trusting the community #Bitcoin 😔 I don’t even know why I trusted the cold wallet 😂 luckily, I was still fortunate enough not to pay the price like many others 🤪
