$BTC A sudden twist in the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire news!

Trump says both sides agreed to immediately halt attacks on energy facilities.

Markets had just glimpsed a little hope for easing tensions.

Just an hour later, Zelensky said he knew nothing about it.

Was this ceasefire agreement actually reached or not?

According to the latest reports, Trump announced that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to immediately stop attacking energy infrastructure. However, about an hour later, Ukrainian President Zelensky said he was not aware of any such ceasefire agreement between the two countries. The two sides’ public statements clearly differ, and the purported immediate ceasefire still needs further confirmation.

For global financial markets, if a ceasefire covering Russia-Ukraine energy facilities is actually implemented, it could ease some energy supply risks and affect oil prices and inflation expectations. But until both sides clearly confirm the details of the agreement, markets should remain alert to changing reports—especially given the potential short-term impact on oil prices, U.S. Treasury yields, and risk assets such as BTC.

The ceasefire news is out, but whether the agreement will be carried out remains unknown.

For BTC to regain momentum amid easing geopolitical tensions, we’ll have to wait for a clear signal that the agreement is actually in effect!
