The new Apple TV 4K will feature an A19 chip, and its remote will have a speaker
Apple’s next-generation Apple TV 4K will feature an A19 chip, an upgrade from the A15 in the 2022 model. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the new Siri Remote will have a built-in speaker to make it easier to find between the couch cushions.
Apple has also tested a built-in microphone for the Apple TV 4K, allowing users to call on Siri directly without the remote or a HomePod, but it’s not yet confirmed whether this feature will make it into the production model. The new device will launch alongside the new HomePod mini on October 30 and is expected to be unveiled at the October 13 “Welcome home” event.
Without a killer exclusive feature, the A15 is more than enough 🤣
