Liquid Hacker Demands 10% of Stolen Funds
The attacker, who presented himself as a "white hat hacker," abruptly shifted his tone, accusing Liquid of allegedly allocating a mere $1.5 million (or nothing at all) to protect $5 billion in assets, calling it gross negligence.
The hacker demanded 10% of the stolen funds as a bounty for discovering the vulnerability. He threatened that otherwise, holders would incur losses of up to 15%.
He also stated that he would later publish a private key to allow their correspondence to be decrypted.
