THIS ISN’T EVEN SYMBOLIC ANYMORE: RED ENVELOPES NEED TO BE REVIEWED
Today I received a red envelope containing:
0,00000002 USDT.
That’s not a small reward.
In economic terms, it’s practically zero.
The problem isn’t that every envelope has to be worth a lot. The problem is that if a feature is designed to reward people, encourage participation, and generate engagement, there should be a reasonable minimum amount per recipient.
Because when the reward becomes microscopic, the system stops feeling like a reward and starts looking like a mechanism for generating clicks.
A constructive review could be simple:
fewer envelopes, but with a real minimum value.
That would improve the user experience, reduce compulsive claiming, and probably also help combat automated behavior.
Does it make sense to keep allowing envelopes that are literally worth almost nothing?
