Midday quick scan. In a nutshell: alts are rotating fast, dip buyers are counting their gains, and anyone chasing the highs is getting buried.
$STRK , which I mentioned in the early hours, is now at the top of the gainers list, up 60%. With $1.36 billion in volume, nothing else among the alts comes close. Breakouts on rising volume can hold; avoid low-volume spikes.
JCT is a cautionary tale. Three hours ago it was still on the gainers list at +24%; now it’s down 38%, with volume drying up completely. It takes just half a day to go from the leaderboard to the graveyard. Chasing the highs just means carrying someone else’s bags.
The morning’s ERA, BAT, and CAP have all faded, and nobody stepped in after MAGIC’s wick. Rotation is so fast that this morning’s hot picks can be ice-cold by the afternoon.
