CFX has something going on here.

The 15m price is up 0.97%, volume has shot up to 6.1x, OI is up 13% in an hour, notional value has increased by $2.6 million, and the 15m change is also +4.12%. This can’t be explained by existing positions simply changing hands—it’s genuinely new leveraged longs piling in.

It’s at the 96.2nd percentile for anomalies, second across the whole pool, and eighth for notional change. And this pattern has persisted for several consecutive periods. A “price up + OI rising in sync” setup like this usually means trend-following money is coming in, not just a one-off spike.

The active trade imbalance is 6.4%, and the buy/sell ratio is 1.14, so buyers are still the more aggressive side.

It’s already hugging the upper end of its own historical range. From here, either leverage keeps pushing it higher, or crowded longs suddenly get squeezed once positioning gets too packed. If you’re chasing it, think carefully about your position size.
