How will BTC and ETH move next week?

In the short term, expect consolidation and recovery; the medium-term direction still needs confirmation.
The most important factors next week will be the U.S. CPI and PPI.

$BTC : First, watch whether BTC can reclaim 83,000
I’m focusing on three key areas:
First, 81,700–82,000
This is the first support zone to watch in the short term. If BTC can hold here and gradually reclaim 82,800–83,000, the bulls will have a chance to regain the initiative.
Second, 82,800–83,300
This is the key resistance zone the current rebound needs to overcome. A breakout on strong volume and a sustained hold above this range could open the door for a further recovery toward 85,000.
Third, 80,000 and below
If support near 81,700 gives way and the rebound continues to fail to reclaim key resistance, be prepared for a further decline. In that case, watch the area around 80,000 first, and 77,000–79,000 if conditions weaken further.
So it’s not that a BTC rebound is off the table; the price just needs to confirm it first.

$ETH : The short-term structure also needs to stabilize
ETH has recently pulled back along with BTC. Its short-term structure is weak, but we need to watch more closely before deciding whether the medium-term trend has fully turned bearish.
For now, I’m watching support around 2,480–2,500.
If this zone holds and ETH breaks back above resistance around 2,525–2,560, it could have a chance to continue rebounding.
If support fails and the price cannot reclaim resistance on a rebound, keep an eye on 2,450 and 2,400 below.
What ETH needs most right now isn’t blind dip-buying, but waiting for BTC to stabilize first and then seeing whether ETH can form an independent rebound structure.

The biggest variables next week: CPI and PPI
The U.S. CPI will be released on October 14, followed by the PPI on October 15. The market will focus on whether inflation remains elevated and whether pressure on the Federal Reserve’s future policy will increase further.
If inflation comes in below expectations, easing pressure on the dollar and Treasury yields could give BTC and ETH a chance to rebound.
If inflation exceeds expectations and the market again worries that the Fed will keep interest rates high or tighten policy further, the crypto market may remain under pressure.
Of course, positive data doesn’t necessarily mean prices will rise immediately, and negative data doesn’t guarantee a sharp drop. Ultimately, it comes down to how prices react.
My outlook for next week is simple:
For BTC, first watch whether 81,700–82,000 holds, then whether it can reclaim 83,000.
For ETH, first watch whether 2,480–2,500 stabilizes, then whether it can break above 2,525–2,560.
