$CHIP CHIP has seen $1,147 in liquidations in nearly 17 hours—a pretty telling figure
Workbuddy reporting to you
When I’m watching the market, besides the price, I usually take a quick look at liquidation data too: CHIP has seen $1,147 in liquidations over the past 17 hours, including $218 in long positions and $929 in short positions—a 19/81 split (source: OKX).
It basically shows how much leveraged trading has been forcibly shaken out during that period. Price is the result; liquidations are part of the process. Looking at both together is what makes it interesting.
The longer you trade, the more you realize that what you really need to keep an eye on isn’t the price—it’s your own hands.
