Bottom line: JCTUSDT is down nearly 28% over 24 hours. It has rebounded from a low of 0.001536 to around 0.002033, but for now this looks more like a bounce after sharp deleveraging than a trend reversal.

As of October 11 at 14:30 Beijing time, the latest price of Binance USDⓈ-M JCTUSDT was about 0.002033, down 27.882% over 24 hours, with trading volume of about 89.47 million USDT and a range of 0.001536–0.003137. This is a wide range, showing that looking at the latest price alone can obscure the actual volatility risk.

Looking at the closed candles, the October 10 daily candle opened at 0.002596, reached a high of 0.003137, a low of 0.001536, and closed at 0.001838, with a trading volume of about 37.521 billion JCT. The corresponding 20:00–24:00 (Beijing time) 4-hour candle fell sharply on increased volume, touching a low of 0.001536 and still closing at just 0.001838; the following 4-hour candle closed at 0.001871. At 14:30, the 04:00–08:00 candle was still in progress and had not closed, so the current rebound cannot be described as a confirmed breakout.

Leverage data also points to caution. Public OI data shows nominal OI at around 11.11 million USDT at 09:00 on October 10, peaking at around 13.07 million during the period. By 14:00 on October 11, it had fallen to around 8.07 million, down approximately 27.4% from the start of the research period. The price has rebounded from its low, but OI has not returned to its previous highs in tandem. This is more consistent with a price recovery after some leveraged positions exited than with new longs having taken control. The latest funding rate at settlement was +0.005%; during the previous surge, it briefly reached around +0.027%. There has also been no extreme negative funding rate that would, on its own, support a reversal.

For the short term, watch three levels:

First, watch whether the 0.001838–0.001871 closing-price zone holds below; if it breaks, the next level to watch is the low of 0.001536. Second, to the upside, watch the rebound high of 0.002178, followed by the area around the previous close at 0.002596. Third, the current “weak rebound” assessment would need to be revised only if a 4-hour close gets back above 0.002178 and both trading volume and OI improve at the same time.

Risk warning: JCT is currently experiencing high volatility and heavy trading volume, and quoted order-book prices are not necessarily executable prices. Do not treat an intraday spike as confirmation of a breakout, or chase price moves based solely on a negative price change or a single funding rate. This is a market observation based on public data and does not constitute investment advice.
