Have you noticed? Two coins went to extremes today: one surged like crazy, while the other crashed hard.

First, $LUMIA : up 83% in 24 hours, with the price jumping from under $0.10 to 0.1527. When I was watching, trading volume was 32.2M. Honestly, that’s not especially high, but a move like this probably isn’t driven by retail traders. Either the project team announced good news, or a whale is controlling the market. With a move this independent and no clear news to back it up, chasing it might feel like buying the dip—but you could actually be catching the whale’s falling knife.

Then there’s $NFP, down 65% after crashing from its highs. It’s now trading at 0.00181. Volume is only 3.8M, which means there isn’t much buying support. A drop this sharp isn’t a normal pullback; it looks more like panic selling. These low-volume crashes are the scariest: you think the price has fallen far enough to be a bargain, but there could still be another floor below the floor.

BTCP is up a modest 0.43% today and holding steady. Its funding rate is negative, so the bears don’t have much strength for now.

This market is currently out to wipe out two kinds of people: those who rush in because they’re afraid of missing a surge, and those who see a crash and think they’re getting a bargain by buying the dip.

Do you think a pure pump like LUMIA’s can last, or is the whale getting ready to sell?
