$BTC 82857 was up 0.22% yesterday, but I don't think it's over yet.
How do I describe the market today? One word: endure. $BTC hovered around 83,000 all day, with a high of 83,173 and a low of 82,640—a range of barely over $500, on extremely low volume. The funding rate is still negative at -0.0021. The bears are still applying pressure, but the price just won't drop. That doesn't mean the bulls are strong; the bears simply don't want to push it down.
Look at the top gainers: $STRK surged 45% in a day, with over $100 million in trading volume. What does that mean? Its market cap is tiny; just a few million can send it soaring. But I wouldn't chase a move like this. Nine times out of ten, the project team is dumping and retail traders are left holding the bag. LUMIA's 31% gain looks pretty much the same.
The losers are the real story today. NFP was cut in half and then some, down 65%; VIC fell 43%, VANRY 37%... They're all small-cap shitcoins with appallingly poor liquidity—the gap between the best bid and ask can be 20%. This kind of drop suggests that risk appetite is falling, with money flowing out of small coins and into Bitcoin.
My take: if $BTC can hold above 82,500 tonight, it's likely to test 85,000 within 1–2 days. But if it breaks below that level, then 80,000 is next. I'm not chasing short-term rallies; I'll wait for a pullback.
