Hardware wallet giant Ledger is embroiled in a security scare, with the company announcing that it is investigating devices sold through a reseller channel. Previously, numerous users on social media reported that $BTC , $ETH , and assets on the Tron network had been stolen from their wallets. The amount involved is reportedly around $86 million. Ledger has asked the reseller involved to suspend sales and advised users who recently purchased devices to hold off on setting them up. The total value of suspected thefts tracked by on-chain investigators has exceeded $86 million, once again drawing market attention to supply chain security issues affecting hardware wallets.
