⏳ Reading time: ~2 minutes
🤝 Thank you for your attention and your commitment to systematic trading! We write for those who came to the market to make money, not to chase emotions.

🎯 PAIN POINT #2:

The fate of a compulsive gambler, or why 90% of traders blow their accounts out of boredom.

Do you know the difference between a professional trader and a compulsive gambler? A professional knows how to sit on their hands and drink coffee. A compulsive gambler looks for the “Buy/Sell” button every minute because their brain craves adrenaline.

The most dangerous time for a retail trader is Saturday and Sunday.

🩸 Anatomy of a boredom-induced account wipeout (Overtrading + High Leverage)

- Empty Saturday syndrome:
Institutions and major players are taking a break. Volatility drops, and the market settles into a sluggish sideways range (“chop”). At this point, inexperienced traders start to get bored.

- Looking for a setup where there isn’t one:
Instead of closing the terminal, retail traders start staring at 1-minute and 5-minute charts. “The RSI cooled off right here!” “There’s a green candle here—now it’s definitely going to rally!” The trader starts pulling entry points out of thin air.

- Leverage trap:
The move is weak, and the price is fluctuating by half a percent. To “feel the profit,” the trader increases leverage from 5x–10x to 50x–100x.

- The Market Maker’s finale:
In a thin Saturday market, the MM needs very little capital to create a 0.5\% micro-squeeze. With 50x leverage, this tiny spike is enough to wipe out the deposit of a “bored” trader.

🧠 How we solve this problem:

  • We don’t trade for the sake of trading. We trade for expected value. If the market lacks liquidity and a clear Order Flow setup, our terminal is closed.

  • We lay our traps in advance. Why sit around watching 5M candles when you can place limit orders in zones with the highest concentration of stops and liquidations (like our TP2 at $748.00 on \u003cc-77/\u003e) and get on with your day?

  • Every click comes at a cost. When you open a trade out of boredom, you pay exchange fees, pay funding, and provide liquidity to the Market Maker.

💡 The main takeaway:

If you’re bored, watch a movie, get some fresh air, or spend time with your loved ones. The market is not a casino or a video game. You’re not rewarded here for how many times you click the mouse, but for iron discipline and patience.
